Harry had a wonderful day at Crufts this year, although unplaced he enjoyed his day and never put a foot wrong, it was nice for so many who have his offspring to met him and for us to hear of how wonderful you all think his children are, many have Good Citizen awards as well as doing well in the show ring, but it was most pleasing to hear how great most of his "babies" make wonderful family pets, seeing so many photo's of them on family days out was a joy. He will be there again next year with his daughter Lynquest Liberthine of Carriegame , so please don't forget to look for us and bring those photo's.
Harry was very pleased to hear that his son Carriegame Bobby Dazzler of Dirnelia is now a champion in South Africa. Lets hope that he is just the first in a long line.
To add to this wonderful news I learnt at Crufts that Harry is doing extremely well in the Joan Macan Hip Score records with his progeny, he is currently number 6 all time good hip score producer, proving he hasn't only got good hips him self but he is passing this gene on!

Before I say very much about Hector I must first thank Lynda Miles of the LLanstinan kennel for allowing me to have this special dog. He is a pleasure to own being a big softy, he loves to please. He loves to retrieve (anything which is thrown - we don't shoot) best of all out of water, and won't lose a ball even in the longest of grass which he then uses his nose to help find it.
Hector delighted us at CRUFTS this year as he was 3rdin a very strong class. He later gained his Junior Warrant and his Stud book number, so qualifing for Crufts for life. He has won many Best of Breed and group awards at Open shows as well as winning classes at Championship show level.
Hector has sired some quality pups and Carriegame Pure Elegance from his first litter is in the Swedish show kennel Robust and at her first show she was Best Puppy in Breed and Best in Show 5! I have a young puppy which I hope to have in the ring in August.
I have a litter of Puppies which is sired by Hector out of Carriegame Heavenly Spirit which was born 24 May 2010, 2 chocolate bitches, 1 chocolate dog, 4 black bitches and 2 black dogs.
Hector is available at stud to approved bitches

As I have said Toffee was "the beginning" even though he was not used at stud he was the one that was responsible for my interest in the breed. He did us proud and was never unplaced at open shows and managed to qualify for Crufts 2000, after competing there he was retired from the ring. It gives me great sadness after increasing discomfort, after a life where he never ceased to try to please us, I had to say my final good bye to him on Monday 2 July 07. He is thought of with great joy and missed everyday, a dog in a life time who introduced me to the joys of being a labrador owner.
